The Essex 10k Cross Country Series - Hadleigh Castle

Hadleigh Castle overlooks the Thames estuary from a ridge to the south of the town of Hadleigh. Built in 1215 during the reign of Henry III The castle is now preserved by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building and scheduled monument. Hadleigh Country Park, which surrounds the castle, is one of the largest country parks in Essex. It takes its name from the nearby Castle Race.

Course: Mixture of cross country and paved paths over a HILLY landscape
