Marathon in all 28 EU countries

I'm running a marathon in every EU country (28)!!

I'm currently aiming to run a marathon in all 28 European Union (EU) member states to help raise funds and awareness for biomedical research to cure and treat ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) via the UK ME charity 'Invest In ME' (www.investinme.org).

One of my best friend's Ian has had ME for nearly 10 years and I've seen him lose some of the best years of his life to the illness.  He's been unable to work and suffers terribly with the illness which consists of severe fatigue, nausea, muscle pains, painful headaches and much more.  

There's currently no known cure or treatment for the illness and raising funds and awareness is the only way that I feel I can help him.  ME/CFS affects over 250,000 people in the UK, including 25,000 children; in Europe as a whole we're talking hundreds of thousands more.

I've so far run London (UK), Prague (Czech Rep), Helsinki (Finland) and Dublin (Ireland).

In 2016 I will be running marathons in Thessaloniki, Greece (April 3rd), Stockholm, Sweden (June 4th), Gdansk, Poland (Aug 15th) and Toulouse, France (Oct 23rd).
