The Frome Half Marathon returns to the town for the 6th time in 2017 and will again be run on closed roads around the town and surrounding villages. The event is open to runners aged 17 and above and will be run under a RunBritain Licence (applied for).

Start: 10am Sunday 16th July 2017. Location: The start and finish lines are both in the race village at Frome Town Football Club, Berkley Road, Frome, Somerset, BA11 2EH. PLEASE FOLLOW SIGNS TO EVENT PARKING.

NB. No entries after 9th July 2017 and no entries on the day. We expect to reach our race limit again this year so enter early to avoid disappointment!

Race timing will be provided by DB Max – more information at www.dbmax.co.uk.

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the first three men and women in the race and for the winners of the following categories:

MV40, MV50, MV60, FV40, FV50 and FV60.

King & Queen of the Mountain: All half marathon competitors will be timed as they run up Egford Hill to see who will be crowned King & Queen of the Mountain 2017.

We introduced this event in 2015 and as it was so popular will be awarding age group prizes this year! Prizes to be awarded in this competition are:

• Fastest man (King of the Mountain)

• Fastest woman (Queen of the Mountain)

• The fastest runners in the following age categories – MV40, MV50, MV60, FV40, FV50, FV60.
